Come! See! Go! Tell!
Matthew 28:6-7
“We live by faith, not by sight.”
He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold,
I have told you ( nkjv ).
On this Easter Sunday we are reminded of the importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Walter Martin once said, Christianity begins where all other religions leave off -- with the resurrection of Christ.
I. The Meaning of the Empty Tomb: 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

II. The Challenge of the Resurrection: Luke 24:34
and saying, It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.

4. Persistent living. 1 Peter 1:13
III. The Power of the Resurrection: Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

IV. The Hope of the Resurrection: John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?

2. We will see our loved ones again. 1 Corinthians 15:19-23
3. We will live forever. John 3:16
Because of the resurrection, death and the grave have lost their finality.
