Valentine Candlelight Mission Dinner

Wed, Feb. 8th at Upper Room Church, 7 p.m., in the fellowship hall. All proceeds will go toward missions. The Cost: Adult is $9.00 per person - Ages 4 - 9 are $4.50 per person and Ages 3 & under are FREE.

Project Love

Between now and Feb. 10th Women's Discipleship is asking each family or lady to purchase 2 boxes of Valentine cards or make the cards, to be distributed to nursing homes, widows, retired ministers and their wives.

The first box of cards in for nursing homes, assisted living facilities & shut-ins. Please sign your name on each card and place them in an envelope and leave the envelope blank. Then, bring this box of cards to the church and place them in the box that is labeled Nursing Homes. Women's Discipleship will divide and distribute them for you (no postage is needed)

The second box of Valentine cards is for the Ohio Church of God Widows, Ohio State Retired Ministers and their wives. A list of each has been provided for your convenience. Select the names or persons you wish to send a card to. Address & mail them yourself OR if you can't afford the postage bring them to the church and place them in the box marked Ohio Church of God Widows, Retired Ministers & Wives. Women's Discipleship will provide postage and mail them for you. There will be a box marked Ohio Church of God Widows, Retired Ministers & their Wives.

Upper Room Church Food Pantry

The Church Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable foods, canned, boxed, etc. Please, if you get a cake mix instead of a brownie mix, you must provide the frosting to go with the cake mix. Bring all donated non-perishable items into the church anytime before any of our regular church services or Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. until 1 pm. and place them on the countertops in the kitchen. Grocery items are urgently needed. Thanks for any consideration of help in ministering to the Findlay community.
