Greetings from our hearts to yours! As the senior pastor of the Upper Room church of God, I want to say it is a privilege to be a part of this church and community. In July of 1979, our lives changed when my wife Donna, two sons Terry Lee and Kenny and I, moved to Findlay to be a part of The Upper Room family. I must say, it has been filled with many experiences. We have shared laughs and happy times with you, rejoiced with you at the births of children, celebrated graduations, weddings, anniversaries and even career changes. And we've also been with you when you've faced losses. We've said "goodbye" with you to a loved one or prayed through many nights in hospital corridors, waiting and watching for the miraculous to happen for you or a soul you have held so dear to your heart. We've felt your pains and we've known your losses We've laughed with you and we've cried with you. It has truly been an event-filled 30 years.	Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear and will increase learning and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels

Our heavenly Father blessed Donna and me by entrusting you in our care, a responsibility we did not accept lightly or without much prayer. For that, we are very humbled and deeply honored.

As your shepherd, I am extremely excited about the future of this body of believers and can only capture a glimpse of what the Lord has in store at The Upper Room. I believe it is far greater than what we've already seen or even dreamed.

Praying always that "We Are United" in Jesus Christ and that each person becomes the vessel God wants, so He may pour through us into the lives of others in the world. We can make a difference!
